Concursos e Prêmios

No 70º Congresso Brasileiro e 6º Ibero-americano de Cerâmica diversos prêmios são oferecidos aos participantes:

Associação Brasileira de Cerâmica

- Classificação dos três melhores trabalhos apresentados: primeiro lugar - R$ 800,00; segundo lugar - R$600,00 e terceiro lugar - R$ 500,00.

- Melhor trabalho apresentado por aluno(a) de curso técnico ou de graduação - R$ 500,00.

- Melhor trabalho apresentado por aluno(a) de pós-graduação (Mestrado/Doutorado) - R$ 500,00.

- Ceramografia/micrografias: imagens obtidas por diversas técnicas de microscopia.

Para concorrer aos prêmios é necessário o texto completo e apresentação pelo autor correspondente. Saiba mais em Regulamento de Premiação e Ceramografia - ABCERAM.

Serão divulgados os trabalhos que estarão concorrendo aos prêmios: título, autores e data e horário da apresentação.

American Ceramic Society

Classificação dos dois melhores trabalhos apresentados em inglês por aluno(a) de pós graduação ou jovem pesquisador com até 2 anos de conclusão do doutorado, com a gratuidade da submissão no International Journal of Ceramic Engineering & Science.

A inscrição para concorrer ao prêmio deve ser realizada no sistema de submissão, indicando a opção “Prêmio American Ceramic Society”. No mesmo arquivo do trabalho submetido, deve estar anexado a prova de estudante ou até 2 anos de conclusão do doutorado.

Prize

ACerS International Brazil Chapter: one-year memberships for at least five to top-ranked participants.

Eligibility

Open to students (undergraduate, master’s, or PhD) or recent graduates (degree completed after June 18, 2023).
Only participants with accepted oral or poster submissions at the 70^th CBC may apply.
The presenter must be the first author of the work submitted to the CBC.

Submission requirements

Your submission must include the following:

Title of the work and reference
Full list of authors and affiliations (clearly indicate the presenter/first author)
Abstract (must be identical to the one submitted to the 70^th CBC or translated to English in case the original one was submitted in Portuguese)
Graphical abstract: image in TIFF, PNG, or JPEG (300 dpi, 2:5 ratio – e.g., 531 × 1328 px or 9.366 × 23.424 cm)
Proof of studentship: valid enrollment certificate or diploma issued after June 18, 2023

Presentation guidelines

Each pitch must be in English and last a maximum of 3 minutes.
Time overrun will result in point deductions.
Use of slides is optional (maximum of six if used).
The pitch must address the purpose, main results, and key conclusions of the study.

Selection process

12 to 16 candidates will be pre-selected based on the abstract and graphical abstract.
Preference will be given to ABCeram members and candidates at advanced academic levels (PhD > Master's > Undergraduate).
Selected candidates will be notified by May 31, 2026.

Event schedule

Presentation: during the Young Ceramists Evening, Tuesday night, June 09, 2026
Award ceremony: at the closing session, Wednesday, June 10, 2026
